Despair

How is the Crow a book about DESPAIR?

The definition of despair is to be completely loss and without hope and in the novel the main character Crow goes through all of that, such as the moment his fiance Shelly died, that’s was a tragedy and a moment of despair when all his hopes died at that moment and he lost everything he loved.

Continuous Myths

From the graphic novel Eric Draven the main character has the symbolic creature the raven that defines him in so many ways, The raven symbolizes darkness, links to death or death itself, revenge, and transitions to the afterlife. As in the novel the character Raven is heartless and even as he is inflicted pain he doesn't show any sign of emotion or pain as if he was a dead man walking. Raven talks to the people that he encounters without remorse and gets straight to the point. The Native Americans also believed that the raven symbolizes deceit or a master or trickery, and is driven by greed and the ability to change its from at will. Eric Draven lived a simple life before his wife died and since that tragedy he became cold and heartless, to conclude this Eric Draven and "The Crow" are suppose to be one in the same and the novel is suppose to be his alter ego of some sort.

Uhhhhhh.....

Hello my name is Winston Smith and Ima BOSS and that's all you need to know...

So far as writing graphic novels or working with them its been a new experience thanks to Francis, and the reason for me blogging so hopefully I get this credit. For my favorite graphic novel character or comic character it would have to be spider-man mainly because he lives a double life one as his regular self (Peter Parker) and the other life as a superhero (Spider-Man), I like him because he goes through alot in both lives and is still able to come out positive even through it all, that an I like the show/movie in general.
